We hosted a little get together to celebrate the new year with appetizers, board games, and cocktails. The kids had a pre-midnight celebration and then headed off to bed so the adults could continue celebrating. None of us could believe it, but they actually went to bed without a fight and stayed there all night. The adults, on the other hand, did not go to bed so easily.

Crazy Craiger!Henry and Blake went on their 2nd annual boys new year trip to Devil's Lake, ND. Blake thinks it is pretty neat when he gets to travel to Devil's Lake since that is where he was born. This year there were a total of 4 dads and 4 sons that headed to the big lake for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Well, it turns out that it was REALLY cold and the fishing wasn't so great, but nonetheless, a terrific time was had by all.

This year we decided that it wasn't fair for the guys to have all the fun so we had a mini girls weekend too. The first night was a pool party complete with pizza, pop, and Paige's first real sleepover. The next day was a trip to the "spa"...Paige got a much needed hair trim. We topped the night off with popcorn and movies. Yes, we watched Camp Rock AND High School Musical.
